A program that once served as a COVID-19 resource has evolved into an online economic hub that aims to connect residents, businesses and visitors with resources in Maui County.
The new Maui Nui Strong program launched on Wednesday with information on work opportunities, business support, a buy local directory, health care resources and economic drivers, according to a county news release.
It also offers features an events calendar, volunteer opportunities, visitor information, local stories and information about Maui County.
“We are delighted to introduce this comprehensive online resource, part of our ongoing commitment to showcase the diverse range of resources available in Maui Nui,” county Office of Economic Development Director Luana Mahi said. “Our hope is that we can empower and support our valued residents, businesses and visitors by providing them with the information and resources necessary for their prosperity and success in Maui County.”
To be featured on the website, businesses may sign up for a free business listing, be included as a business and/or resident resources and submit events for the calendar section.
