RJ Mitte, full name Roy Frank Mitte III, is an American actor, producer, and model. He is known for his roles on the shows Breaking Bad and Switched at Birth, and in the films House of Last Things, Who’s Driving Doug, The Recall, Rivers Run Red, Standing Up for Sunny, The Oak Room, and Triumph.
He is the son of Dyna and Roy Mitte. He was adopted by the couple. Roy is of English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, and French-Canadian descent. Dyna is of Cajun/French ancestry. RJ has cerebral palsy. He used crutches for most of his childhood. When he was around thirteen, he moved to Los Angeles, California, with his family.
